Expert Tip #5: Know Who’s Building Your Future Home
Not all builders are created equal — and when it comes to buying in a new project, the developer’s reputation can make or break your experience.
Think: on-time delivery, solid construction, no surprise “extras” down the line.
Before you commit, ask:
🔎 What other projects have they done?
🛠️How do they handle delays or issues?
🏗️Especially in Jerusalem — where the approval process isn’t for the faint of heart — a reliable builder makes all the difference.
We only work with developers who have a strong track record and deliver what they promise — so you can buy with confidence, not crossed fingers.

Menahem in action!
Menahem is originally from Colombia but grew up in Miami. “Because every Latin Jew makes Aliyah to Miami before making Aliyah to Israel,” he jokes.
After studying Marketing at Yeshiva University, Menahem launched a ghostwriting agency specializing in personal branding for Israeli founders in their Series A funding stage. But after October 7, he felt a deeper calling and headed to Israel.
"A few months after arriving in Israel, I decided it was time to fulfill a childhood dream: to spend some time as a barista," he shares.
As a Colombian with a lifelong love for coffee, Menahem brought his passion to the Rova Coffeehouse in the Old City. After weeks of training - yes, he’s mastered the foam cappuccino heart - he found his rhythm. But in a quest for something more, inspiration struck.
"One day I was in Shefer, in the north of Israel. During Hitbodedut, I had this mystical experience: a feeling of expansive love and connection to nature. I asked HaShem, ‘How can I share this feeling?’ The answer came through writing. The very next day, on the bus ride back from work to my apartment in Nachlaot, the idea hit me: what if I wrote soulful messages on the coffee cups I handed to customers? And just like that, CoffeeLetters32 was born."
Now, Menahem blends his gift for words with his spiritual journey, writing heartfelt, personalized notes on every coffee cup.
“I feel lucky to have channeled my talent for communication into something so meaningful. People get emotional when they read my little notes. I’ve received hugs, tears, and some people even clean the cups to take them home as keepsakes.”
His message to fellow Olim? “Sometimes, when you're open to the mysteries of life, Hashem whispers the next step. Even if it doesn’t seem logical, if you trust it, something beautiful will guide you.”
