Expert Tip #4: Timing Isn’t Everything… But It’s 80%
A lot of buyers think, “I’ll buy when I’m ready.”
But in Jerusalem, the smart move? Buy when the market is ready.
And right after Pesach is one of those magic windows:
✅Many sellers are back and motivated
✅There’s still a lull before summer madness hits
✅You’ve got time to close before the big aliyah and tourist wave
🚨Wait too long, and you’re competing with everyone — from overseas buyers to last-minute movers. Prices climb. Options shrink.

Meet Lior Chinn!
Originally from Chicago, Lior and Moshe Chinn made Aliyah in April 2024 and hit the ground running, literally! Just three months into their Jerusalem journey, the couple opened The Movement, a women’s yoga and fitness studio in the heart of Baka.
Lior, who holds a degree in Digital Multimedia Design from Touro University, shares that their vision for The Movement goes far beyond physical health: “We wanted to create a space where women of all ages can feel safe, be themselves, and truly thrive.” The dream? Hosting charity events and growing into a community hub that uplifts and inspires.
When it comes to "only in Jerusalem" moments, Lior laughs: “We’ve already had people ask to use our studio as a shul - because apparently, Jerusalem always needs one more!”
While still finding her place in the broader Jerusalem community, Lior hopes The Movement can become a space where that sense of belonging is built, shared, and celebrated.
Check out The Movement on Instagram, or pop into the studio for a class. We highly recommend 🙂
